We collaborated with a boutique owner of Four Horsemen in Victoria BC, and designed a set of limited edition sweaters.
Check out their photoshoot here.
Takaku Tomoki, a back country pro-snowboarder from Japan tested our possum pullover during the 07/08 winter season in Hokkaido and gave it two thumbs up for its lightness and warmth.
If you’re ever in Hokkaido and want a guided tour of the back country you can contact him at Powder Company Guide. Check him out here, snowboarding the steepest mountains of Mongolia and through the beautiful landscape of Alaska.
We designed another one-off, Canadian Heritage-style sweater, this time paying tribute to the one and only great Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Our sweater received many compliments by wild beer-swiggin’, hot-dog-eating Canadian fans on the best night of the week – Hockey Night In Canada, baby! Yeaaahhh.
Granted can now create custom orders, such as this one for a client who admires this Canadian environmentalist and science broadcaster so much, shes willing to have him on her back.
Granted was commissioned by Hudson’s Bay Company to design and make traditional sweaters for their 2007 Heritage collection. They asked us to design a sweater using the prancing elk from their crest logo. In the December ‘07 issue of Elle Canada magazine, actress Rachel Leigh Cook was photographed wearing this piece of “homespun Canadiana.”
Featured is a Bedwin original sweater hand-knit by our local knitters.
